Sugarcane is one of the world’s most efficient crops. After the juice is extracted, the remaining fibrous pulp — bagasse — was historically discarded or burned. We saw something different: a material with natural strength, heat resistance, and a carbon footprint a fraction of plastic or styrofoam.
Today, PulpAura transforms that bagasse into beautiful, functional tableware that works for every occasion — from high-volume restaurant kitchens to intimate outdoor gatherings. Because sustainable packaging shouldn’t be a compromise. It should be an upgrade.
How It’s Made
From cane to table in four steps.
Harvest
Sugarcane is harvested and juice extracted. The remaining bagasse fibre is collected — a co-product that would otherwise go to waste.
Pulp & Purify
Bagasse is washed, bleached naturally, and processed into a clean, food-safe fibre pulp slurry free from chemicals and additives.
Press & Form
The pulp is hot-pressed into precision moulds under high heat and pressure, creating dense, rigid tableware with natural texture.
Table & Compost
Products arrive at your table ready to perform. After use, they compost fully in 60–90 days — returning every nutrient back to the earth.
